Project: See the Color

Coloring, you might say, is for children. At one point in your life, you most likely found great joy in the activity of scribbling waxy colors into empty line drawings. Perhaps you were so brave or careless as to breach the lines and place your marks out in no man’s land beyond the well-defined shapes. Or maybe you were of the sort that liked to clutch a dozen crayons in your fist and assault the page with a senseless and savage blend of colors…

The Escape List
Concise reviews of various forms of escape: literature, films, and music (mostly the former two), often including original drawings which may or may not sum up the entire subject.

We have reviewed films as diverse as
True Lies and
The Romance of the Western Chamber, and books ranging from classics (e.g.
Lord Jim) to modern works of dubious value (e.g. some Paul Auster book).
