In the dark corner of a far away forlorn church stand these three forgotten souls.  Bruised, dirty, chipped and abandoned they doze like wallflowers in the shadows as patrons play hooky for every reason but lack of sin.
In their bright vestments creased with dust the saints and saviors of yesteryear dream of the good&#8217;ol days when esteem was high and church donations flowed like golden glacier runoffs in the eternal spring of global warming.
Now, though.  Now there are ten such derelict churches in a 50 kilometer radius.  Ten churches to share one imported minister of faith.  A foreigner preaching right and wrong to a small audience every tenth Sunday.  Some may say:

		<description><![CDATA[They came over the hills and to a crossroads.  It was hot, dry farmland, with vineyards and sunflowers spreading out every direction.  The pilgrims carried <em>mochilas</em> on their sweating backs, and were tired from travel.  They were also a little dazed from the Spanish sun.
At the crossroads they paused and considered.  Their trusted yellow arrows had disappeared; they were lost.  Was it straight, or down the perpendicular road to their right that split the two cropped wheat fields?
<i>&#8220;El Camino?&#8221;</i>
The pilgrims had ignored the truck parked at the intersection.  They had ignored the dark-eyed driver leaning from the window.  But now he was addressing them, so they listened.
&#8220;It is that way,&#8221; the d&#8230;
